Greenland Contractors I/S, which is owned by MT Højgaard (67%) and the Parliament of Greenland (33%), participated in 2014 in a tender for a new contract to operate and maintain the Thule Air Base in Greenland. In May 2015, the US Court of Federal Claims ordered that the company that won the tender cannot be awarded the contract.

On July 24 2015 it has been announced that the parties expected to conclude an agreement on a temporary extension.

As such, Greenland Contractors and U. S. Air Force signed a Bridge Contract to temporary ensure the operations of Thule Air Base. The agreement commences October 1 2015 and continues for six months, with an option to extend for a period of up to six months.

The interim agreement between the parties is made on terms, which differ from the current contract, and the agreement will not affect the Group’s financial guidance.
