MT Højgaard's Chief Financial Officer (CFO) Flemming Steen has today informed the Board of Directors that he has been given the opportunity to be Chief Operating Officer and CFO in the Clipper Group. This means that he returns to the shipping industry.

- The Board wishes to thank Flemming Steen for a considerable and competent performance in a difficult period for MT Højgaard and wishes him all the best with his new challenges, says MT Højgaard's chairman, Helge Israelsen.

Flemming Steen came to MT Højgaard in October of 2011 and has played a central role in the substantial restructuring which has been effected in the past year.

Flemming Steen's resignation will be effective from the end of August, and he will continue in the Leadership Team until his resignation. The Board will immediately begin to look for a new Chief Financial Officer who will contribute to the ongoing development of the Group's strategy and restoration of its profitability.

Until a new Chief Financial Officer has been found and he/she has taken up his/her position, the MT Højgaard Group's Leadership Team consists of President and CEO Torben Biilmann and Chief Financial Officer Flemming Steen (until the end of August). As previously announced Søren Ulslev takes up his position as Chief Operating Officer no later than 1 June 2013.
