Today the non-profit housing association Helsingør Boligselskab has made public that Enemærke & Petersen - a subsidiary in the MT Højgaard Group - has been chosen to carry out the refurbishment of the housing estate Vapnagaard. The project has a value of approximately DKK 500 million.

─ Enemærke & Petersen's competencies and experience are really well suited to this project, and we are proud to be chosen in competition with the other tenderers. We look forward to collaborating with Helsingør Boligselskab on this exciting project which reinforces our position in refurbishment, says CEO Svend R. Hartmann of Enemærke & Petersen.

Enemærke & Petersen and the other tenderers were judged on the criteria of price, implementation, contact with tenants and quality of materials.

Vapnagaard was built from 1967 to 1973. The housing estate consists of 57 identical three-storey block of flats with a total of 1,738 flats.

The refurbishment contract will be signed when the deadline for objections ends. The contract is expected to influence MT Højgaard's revenue and financial performance positively during the refurbishment period, which is scheduled to begin by the middle of 2012 and end in 2015. However, the contract in itself does not give rise to any changes to the previously published expectations to the financial development in 2012.
