Chief Operating Officer in MT Højgaard resigns

MT Højgaard has made organisational changes to its business areas, which from now on will be divided according to geography instead of competences.  The new geo-graphically-based business areas, Denmark and International, replace the previous competence-based business areas, Construction and Civil Engineering.

Chief Operating Officer Thorbjørn N. Rasmussen has been responsible for Civil Engineering since he joined MT Højgaard in October 2009.

- The amalgamation of our fields of responsibility is sensible considering the challenges that MT Højgaard is facing. But my position will carry less weight, a fact that I have acted upon, says Thorbjørn N. Rasmussen, who will complete and pass on his duties and resign his position by the end of March.

MT Højgaard's group management will consequently consist of acting President and CEO Jørgen Nicolajsen, Chief Operating Officer Jens Nyhus and Chief Financial Officer Flemming Steen.
